FOREST SCHOOL

Welcome to the woodland classroom! This is where Padbury’s Forest School takes learning outdoors. Here, children swap pencils for sticks and do some of the following:
Build shelters – using fallen branches and imagination.
Learn fire safety – safely lighting and managing tiny campfires.
Whittle wood – crafting simple shapes from twigs and sticks.
Discover wildlife – identifying trees, insects, and tracks.

It’s messy, muddy, and marvellous, and helps children grow in confidence, curiosity, and care for nature.
Padbury has a brilliant village school, but out here… sometimes the teachers let the students go feral.
