Breakfast and Biodiversity session on Sunday 10th July. 9.30am-12.30pm
A warm welcome to nature experts or novices for a relaxing session collecting, observing, identifying, and recording what lives in Padbury's Millennium woods.
You can get involved in a range of sampling techniques with a focus on the woodland floor for invertebrates and animal signs. Followed by identifying trees, grassland plants and the creatures that live within /on them. Throughout the morning we will keep our senses on high alert listening for bird song, looking for signs of animals and tasting plenty of foodie bits provided for the session.
We are looking forward to meeting a cross generational group of people but suggest it is most suitable for anyone over 10.
