Go Wild in the Woods is back for 2025!

Thanks to Wates Family Enterprise Trust, we are able to offer FREE woodland activities in Padbury's Millennium Woods.

Thursday 10th April: EGG-cellent Easter fun! We will follow a trail into the woods, with some conservation and nature protection activities, art, science and game challenges along the way. Also: make a natural Easter decoration to take home. 10.30am and 1.30 pm sessions.

Tuesday 15th April, 10.30am: Camouflage in Nature! Starting with a fascinating hands-on moths session then through, art, stories and games we will understand how camouflage works in nature.

For these sessions, under 8's need to be accompanied; advisory age: pre-school to 12 years.

Tuesday 15th April, 1.30pm: Food and Fire! (8+) A special session for at the Padbury allotment site which offers a real ‘mini’ woodland experience. Using bushcraft skills we will whittle a damper stick, light a fire and cook something tasty. Please note that owing to the activities, the minimum age for this session is 8 years old.
