Greener Padbury at Open Gardens this weekend

We're looking forward to this weekend's celebration of Padbury's gardens - Saturday and Sunday, 2-5pm. You can be sure you'll find lots of inspiration - as well as food, drink and music.

Greener Padbury Group is really pleased to be taking part, and showcasing the ways in which we are boosting biodiversity for wildlife and helping children and adults alike connect with nature.

• Come and have a play in the Muddy Toddlers area of the allotment - it's nice and shady, and you can enjoy juice and a biscuit or a slice of watermelon while you are there.

• Check in on the incredible progress of the Community Allotment.

• Pop into the village hall and find out about our various projects via our display boards.,

• Note the nature-positive changes in the Greener Padbury maintained verges - the A413 gully, Main Street (just past war memorial), the Lower Way bank and the bottom of the playground - as you head from garden to garden.

• Refresh with an ice lolly at 25 Old End, proceeds to help us do more things like Muddy Toddlers and plant for wildlife.

It promises to be a fabulous weekend - huge thanks to the organisers!
