Pictured is the very large and impressively beautiful - and rare - Clifden Nonpareil, sometimes referred to as the Blue Underwing, who came to the trap last night.
It is a huge and uncommon moth, previously native, now recolonising from immigrant populations. This is the third record in Bucks so far in 2023 and one of fewer than 30 records on iRecord in Bucks since records started.
